Provides training and employment opportunities to job seekers, incumbent workers and employers through a partnership-driven approach
Skills Development Fund Training Stream
- Projects support hiring, training, and upskilling to jobseekers, apprentices, and workers.
- Specific projects are listed on the list of Skills Development Fund Agencies across Ontario.
Skills Development Fund Capital Stream
- Supports organizations with upgrades or construction of training centres in high-demand jobs, like the skilled trades.

Eligible individuals- apprentices, job seekers and workers at risk of job displacement, including women, youth, people with disabilities, Indigenous peoples, racialized groups, justice-involved and immigrants
- Application Process
- Eligible organizations may submit an application through Transfer Payment Ontario during the application window Eligible individuals may apply directly through participating organizations (please refer to link of funded SDF agencies in the description above).
