Culturally sensitive range of supports for racialized youth and their families, including after school ​activities, mentorship, leadership training, professional guidance, knowledge and information sharing, and promotion of community involvement
  • referrals and advocacy on issues addressing racial and systemic barriers
  • service bridging program
  • Homework Motivation Club
  • Youth Hub weekly after school program
  • summer employment opportunities
  • youth violence prevention
  • support in developing positive peer networks
  • virtual workshops such as time management, budget friendly cooking, organization, self esteem, confidence building and conflict resolution
  • online library includes blogs, videos, documents, zine
  • community-based podcast on social issues in York South Weston and Toronto
Eligibility
Focus on racialized youth and young adults 12-29 years, and their families, particularly at-risk youth and marginalized communities
Residency Requirements: North York (York South-Weston), particularly Black Creek Dr/Trethewey Dr to Jane St/Finch Ave W
