Housing Access Centre

- support and assistance with updating Woodgreen housing applications
- applications for Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) must be done online at Woodgreen Housing
- gives referrals to community services/organizations that can help gather supporting documents for application
- case management provided to former residents of Tent City only
Community Food Bank - operates Tuesdays (except statutory holidays) 1:05 pm-2 pm outside at back of building; items may be heavy - bring shopping cart/trolley or reusable shopping bags; pet food is very limited and may not be available on a weekly basis
First Step to Home - four-year transitional housing program with wraparound support
- for men 55+ who have experienced mental health or substance use issues, street involvement, unstable housing and homelessness

Please note that this location is no longer a housing help centre and does not give support with completing housing applications that are not for Woodgreen Housing; referrals to housing help centres can be provided
- Eligibility
- At least one member of the household must be 16 years or older
- at least one member of the household is able to live independently, with or
without support services- at least one member of the household must have income
- each member of the household can prove status in Canada
- Application Process
- All Rent Geared to Income (RGI) housing applications must now be completed online; visit website to submit application at Woodgreen Housing
The RGI building complexes include: 1070 Queen St East, 570 Coxwell Ave, 137 Sears St, 55 Pape Ave, 17 Renwick Cres

- permanent resident card

Most recent Notice of Assessment required for all household members over the age of 16 or proof of income documents, such as Ontario Disability Support Program/Ontario Works drug card or employment pay statements - Accessibility
