COVID19  Counselling available to individuals and families by phone, email or online conferencing; shelter and residential programs in operation with limited visiting, and heightened health screening measures in place

Mental health counselling, treatment and supports
  • external counselling services by registered therapists and professionals, including individual and family therapy, and brief and intensive services
  • specialized youth workers assist with life skills development, problem solving, independent living and self-care skills
  • community and in-home intensive family services
  • live-in specialized treatment for youth 12-17 years
  • harm reduction support, housing and employment support, referrals toTPYS programs or community services
  • Youth Justice support and counselling
Project Going Home
Offers homeless individuals the means necessary to return to their home communities, travel expenses, food; supportive counselling and referrals to local community support; community or self referrals

Redwood House
Transitional live-in program (capacity 8) for young men 16-24 years, able to live cooperatively and manage a personal budget, monetary contribution required; referral from agency, community or self referral

Shelter
Short term emergency residence (capacity 35) for young men 16-24 years (see separate listing)

Specialized Classroom (Section 23)
Educational services for youth with mental health needs, including individualized attention to academic and behavioural difficulties

Turning Point PATH Program
Diversion program for youth 12-18 years, with emphasis on developing positive social, cognitive, problem solving and decision making skills

Court diversion program for youth 12-17 years with mental health concerns
  • counselling, assessment, case management, referral and treatment
  • court and probation referral only

Mental health counselling and supports: youth 12-18 years and their families, challenged with mental health issues (anxiety, depression, trauma), homelessness, or conflict with the law; live-in treatment programs up to 24 years; see specific programs for details
