COVID-19 - Modified services via phone, email, video calling or screened on-site services by appointment with enhanced safety protocols

Food Bank -- by appointment, Tue-Fri 10 am-12 noon, 1 pm-3 pm * grocery bags available once every 2 weeks by family size -- proof of address, recent monthly income, and photo ID for client profile members required * available to M4 and M5 postal codes only * assistance obtaining resources such as hygiene supplies, baby items, warm wear * Cornerstone Families and Bridges -- adults can request grocery bags via Care Managers * for food bank assistance, call 416-929-9614 ext 3200

Take-away meals -- Tue, Thu 4 pm-5 pm * assistance obtaining resources such as hygiene supplies, baby items, warm wear

Mental health -- Walk in telephone counselling 416-355-3568, Mon-Wed, Fri 9:30 am-4:30 pm, Thu 10 am- 7:30 pm * appointment-based telephone counselling 416-355-3568 or 416-929-9614 ext 3235

Employment services -- employment support by phone/email, or appointment with screening and enhanced safety protocols * for inquiries call 416-929-9614 ext 2278

Family support services including advocacy, care management, Christmas assistance * lunch program, in partnership with Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services * supper program * computer classes * children and youth programs including after school programs, homework help and tutoring, sports, summer camps, March break day camps * fathers group * child care -- see separate entry

Adult social drop-in -- includes meal, recreation programs and workshops * Bible studies

Bridges Adult Program -- chronic poverty initiative includes courses, workshops, mentoring, tutoring, case management and social events * seasonal income tax clinic * veterinary preventive pet care clinic for those unable to afford * health promotion * volunteer and employment programs

Counselling services -- professional therapy for youth, adults, couples and families unable to afford counselling, by appointment * psycho-educational groups on topics such as anger management, anxiety, depression, emotional wellness * Christian orientation provided as requested

Drop-in programs -- includes employment services and housing assistance

Food bank -- 2-3 days supply of unprepared, non-perishable food * appointment required

Women's community development -- programs include workshops, skills development, computer classes

Member of Daily Bread Food Bank * member agency of Toronto Drop-in Network (TDIN)

Focus on individuals and families with low income

  • Food bank -- individuals and families
  • Bridges Adult Program -- individuals 18-60 years, living with generational poverty
  • Seniors program -- 60 years and older

  • Food bank (M4 and M5 postal codes only) -- Bloor St E (north) to Lake Shore Blvd E (south), Yonge St (west) to Don Valley Parkway (east)
