Transit service * Viva rapid transit and scheduled YRT routes * GO Shuttles * Express services * community buses and high school, college and university services * riders pay once (no zones) * customers who need support person required to carry a YRT/Viva Support Person Assistance Card * see website for parking lot and carpool lot locations * trip planning tools on website and live chat during office hours * YRT route riders can request to get off between stops, closer to destination, when riding YRT after 9 pm * links York Region with Toronto Transit System, GO Transit, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, and Mississauga Transit
Viva -- operates along major corridors every 15 min or less * pre-paid, proof-of-payment system * Viva stops have ticket vending machine and operate by ticket validation* two-hour transfers allow travel on any YRT/Viva vehicle for up to two hours, any direction, with single cash fare * real-time display screen shows next arrival as opposed to schedules

Transit Assistance Program (TAP) -- 1 year affordable transit pilot project * Eligible residents purchase TAP pass for half cost of YRT Adult Monthly Pass * runs December 2020, applications now being accepted by telephone
MyRide Travel Training -- transit training for customers of all ages and abilities to use YRT/Viva independently * individual or groups * 1-877-464-9675 ext 75867 or email myride@york.ca
Bike 'n' Bus -- Riders can load bicycle free on bicycle racks on front of bus * self-serve bicycle repair equipment available at Richmond Hill Centre Terminal and Promenade Terminal * bicycle racks at more than 65 locations across York Region, see website for locations - Eligibility
- TAP program: resident of York Region ages of 18 to 64 years old, not receiving transit assistance through Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Programs, agree to take part in evaluation surveys, have income at or below the limits on website
