- Description
Matches potential tenants to vacancies in contracted permanent or transitional housing
- administers subsidy program to landlords; funds and monitors 45 boarding homes and 31 apartment units
- monitors and works cooperatively with homes to maintain standards and awareness of tenants' needs
- provides on-site support services including social and recreational opportunities to tenants
- Eligibility
- Individuals 16 years and older with mental health challenges that are seriously impacting their lives
Supportive Housing applicants must qualify for a housing subsidy under the criteria set by the Ministry of Health, and are willing to accept some level of support from the housing provider
