EarlyON Child and Family Centre
Parent and child drop-in includes group activities, and information on parenting and child development

  • visiting speech-language pathologists, public health nurses
  • parenting resources, workshops
  • community events, outings, activities
  • volunteer opportunities for community members

Every Child Belongs
Special needs resourcing
  • consultation and support to child care centres to enhance their ability to serve children with special needs
  • Early Abilities Preschool Speech and Language -- speech and language services for children from birth-junior kindergarten

Family Group Conferencing
Culturally sensitive, alternative approach to child protection
  • extended family group members participate in the decision-making process to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk or in need of protection

Libby's Place
Residential treatment for youth 12-18 years

RITES Collaborative
Coordinated and culturally responsive clinical mental health services for Black children and youth birth-18 years, and their families; available in northwest Toronto; in partnership with Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS)
Eligibility
Children and youth, birth-18 years, with behavioural, emotional, psychiatric, or family and interpersonal problems; prevention and early intervention programs for children birth-6 years
Residency Requirements: All programs available in Etobicoke; adolescent substance abuse and residential services open to City of Toronto
