Search Agency Service

Description
COVID-19 -- all JobStart locations are temporarily closed but the agency is continuing to provide service online and by phone * clients can contact the agency at 416-231-2295 or info@jobstart.org * JobStart will be checking voicemail and email on a regular basis

One-on-one employment and job search assistance including customized workshops on enhancing interview skills and increasing self-confidence * team building, volunteering and networking sessions with employers * First Aid and CPR training and certification * development of essential life skills

Wage Subsidy Component -- support for interview clothing * 12 weeks of paid work placement in field of choice and ongoing monitoring and coaching support.
Eligibility
Persons who are legally entitled to work in Canada, unemployed or underemployed, have not received EI benefits in the past 3 years and who self-identify as having a permanent physical or mental disability

All interested persons should attend an information session offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
