Description

Telephone crisis line for individuals experiencing mental health or addiction crisis; not an emergency response unit

  • immediate telephone crisis support, including mental health assessment and safety planning
  • support to families, friends and caregivers
  • referral to mobile outreach and rapid response


Mobile Outreach Visits
Team of mental health professionals and police provide in-person support to individuals experiencing non-emergency, high risk, mental health crisis, who require in-depth mental health assessment and safety plan

Mobile Rapid Response
Triggered by 911 call involving mental health or addiction crisis, includes in-person support by crisis support worker and police

24.7 Crisis Support Mon-Sun 24 hours; Mobile Outreach Visits Mon-Sun 8 am-8 pm; Mobile Rapid Response through 911 only
Eligibility
Individuals 16 years and older, who are experiencing a mental health or addictions crisis Residency Requirements: Peel Region or Dufferin County

Call crisis line; for 24.7 Crisis Support or Mobile Outreach Visits, self referral or referral by family, friends or physician; Mobile Rapid Response through 911 only
